We passed by Forno Monteforte one morning on our way through Rome’s tiny streets. The scent of fresh bread pulled us in, but it was the light that made us linger. Loaves stacked behind glass, marmalade jars glowing under yellow lamps, and little stools waiting out front - it all felt so familiar and special at once. “Forno Monteforte” is our way of remembering that simple moment: a caffè stop that turned into a quiet pause, right in the heart of Rome.
